Samuel Levy
About Samuel Levy
Samuel Levy (1978, Belgium) is a contemporary artist whose work explores the profound relationship between man and nature. Through a multidimensional approach, he creates works that blend abstraction and organicity, drawing inspiration from landscapes and living forms to reveal a poetic and immersive universe. His art is based on the concept of “inner landscape”, an intimate and sensory vision of the world around him.
His creative process begins with spontaneous projections of color on the canvas, forming the basis of a constantly evolving composition. Through the superimposition of layers, the addition of reliefs, and a subtle interplay of transparencies, he creates abstract landscapes of great depth. His works evoke a world in transformation, where elements seem to float and intertwine, inviting the viewer into an immersive and introspective experience. Through his work, Samuel Levy seeks to awaken a connection between the individual and their environment, exploring the fragile balance between order and chaos, structure and spontaneity. His art, both instinctive and masterful, transcends mere representation to touch the very essence of life. Exhibited internationally, his work stands out as a bridge between nature, emotion, and the collective unconscious.
Samuel Levy regularly exhibits his works in Luxembourg and Eastern France, as well as at the Art Week Luxembourg fair. Since 2003, he has worked in urban spaces and interior environments in Brussels and Luxembourg. His works can be found in private collections and at the Luxembourg City History Museum. He currently works in Luxembourg, where he has a studio at the 1535° Creative Hub in Differdange.
