About the Artist

Born in France in 1975.

Lives and works in Spain since 2004.

After graduate studies in art, architecture and design at the Faculty of Letters of Montpellier (Diploma of General University Studies obtained in 1995, category Image, Shows and Audio-visual) and at the École Bleue in Paris (Diploma of Interior Architecture and Design obtained in 1999), the artist began her professional career first in Brussels  in the offices of AvantiDesign (1999) then in Paris where she worked as a scenographer for various event production companies. We note his participation in various projects such as the Givenchy Fashion Show – Autumn/Winter 2001 (Paris, 2000); the Paris J-O 2008 Candidature (Paris, 2001); the S.T. Dupont 60th Anniversary (Paris, 2002); the Montana Ready-to-Wear Collection (Paris, 2003) or the Esteticadesign Evening at the Palais de Tokyo (Paris, 2003). 

In 2004 she moved to Catalonia, collaborated on the exhibition projects (curating and scenography) of the artist Xavier Escribà and developed her own projects. She curated Xavier Escribà's exhibition El fil del tempsat the Galerie Carmen Tatche (Sant Feliu de Guíxols - Spain, 2005);  Nit i Somni by Xavier Escribà, curated by the  Centre d'Art Contemporain Bòlit, at the Canònica Santa Maria (Vilabertran - Spain, 2017) or Éloge De L'amour by Xavier Escribà, curated by the Vila Casas Foundation at the Can Mario Museum (Palafrugell - Spain, 2018). More personally, the following projects stand out: Botànica Poetica, a photographic installation created in collaboration with the artist Aligna on the occasion  of the event Temps de Flors, in the courtyard of the  House of Culture in Girona (Girona, 2008); the realization of a photographic installation to respond to the Call for projects of the Urban Art Festival Maçart'08 (Maçanet de Cabrenys – Spain,  2008) and also the installation entitled El Territori i La Gent during Figueres CCC09 (Catalan Capital of Culture 2009) at the Consell Comarcal de l'Alt Empordà (Figueres, 2009).

It is from 2007 that the artist initiates a photographic journal and begins an artistic process. At the beginning of 2020 she realized her first solo exhibition entitled El Lloc Dels Possibles (The place of the possible) in the Cultural Center Dolors Xabé in Sarrià de Ter (Girona).

I conceive photography as a place, the place of possibilities. As in a sketchbook, I draw with images the immateriality of time and the fragility of the present. On the border between the world and perception, I look for a heterotopic representation, a distorted image of what is outside, or as Michel Foucault defines it, of an "other space". The photographic tool allows me to give an image to what does not have it.
